Holidays, Shopping steals and Love

Season's greetings!

Retail sales are everywhere, and I love it!

Last night, I used my magical powers to purchase two pieces of jewelry for less than the retail price of one! A gorgeous rose gold watch originally $69 and a super cute silver cuff with rhinestones and a butterfly accent originally $35 came out to a whopping $62 and change! I felt like a theif!

This is just one example of many great finds! There are some great deals out there! Take advantage of them! And post them!

Friends, in the middle of your holiday shopping, please remember what you should really be giving- love. Love your family, friends, neighbors and strangers. Also, don't forget to love yourself. Spend a little bit of time alone reflecting on your goals, dreams and aspirations.

End 2013 with a bang! Look fabulous doing it, and get ready for an awesome 2014!

Stay gorgeous and blessed!

All Things Talkworthy- The beginning

Drum roll please!!!

So, here it is! My first post.

So many things are fluttering through my mind about what this can become...

But one thing it will for sure be is me!

I am a loud, outgoing, outspoken Deep South Texas girl who loves a lot of things (as I was once told by a five year old in the back seat of her mom's minivan)...

Somehow, I'm ok with this. Why not love a lot of things? Why not?

Ok, no more rambling. Hopefully, you (the trillions of people I hope read this) are in to reading about a lot of different things from one source. I am a girl and yes, we can have multiple personalities (though rarely enough to diagnose).

First, my reason for starting this blog.

I've always wanted to be a writer. Poems, songs, articles, and awesome social media posts are tastes of my writing. So, a blog is the next step. I have to admit, I've wanted to give this a go before but never had the guts to do it.  So now, I'm giving it a try.

Why not, right?

I have a lot of goals and dreams, just as much as the next gal, but a dream only becomes real when you actually get at it and try to fulfill it.

So, at almost midnight on a warm December night (Deep South Texas, remember?), I say

Hi y'all!

Welcome to my world! Hope you like it!

PS... you have some homework. Today, compliment someone. Whether their lipstick is on point or their car is extra shiny or maybe you need to reach out to an old friend and tell them a memory brought a smile to their face, do it! You'd be surprised at the smile you have on your face at the end of the day. Want to share your experience? #talkwithcoco and share!
